a little bit of info: Adam Franklin and Sam Fogarino were introduced via a mutual friend named Jack Rabid. Jack was the drummer in the 90s shoegazer band Springhouse. Jack is the owner/editor of the greatest music magazine you can buy called The Big Takeover. It's been around for over 20 years and it comes out twice a year and has GREAT interviews and more reviews than you can imagine. "Music with heart" is their theme and it's not pretentious like Pitchfork. I cannot recommend this magazine enough! I know I'm sounding like I have some sort of motive here but I don't... I had dinner with Jack once and he's a great, down to earth fellow. it's just one of those rare, highly informative and educational things you have to see to believe. You can pick it up in bookstores like Borders or Green Apple Books... but I highly suggest subscribing. http://bigtakeover.stores.yahoo.net/...is.html
