The Warfield sucks! I went there for the first time when Les Claypool last played there, and I swore I wouldn't go back unless it was a can't miss show. They usher you in past security all rudely, then charge you outrageous prices for beer and merchandise, and when you're watching the performance, you'd better stay inside the lines on the floor, or else! I'm sure it was a fine, rockin venue at one point, but now it's like you feel the hand of authority on your shoulder the whole time. A little too safe and orderly, if you ask me
